Warehouse Laborer - Picking Orders and Loading Trucks

4:00-2:30 AM or 6:00-4:30 AM                               4 pm – 10 pm

Monday & Thursday can be 10+ hours

Starting Wage:  $13.00                                                   $12.00

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Order picking by warehouse location.  Picks the proper product, staging and loading of customer orders.  Stock shelves for pick lines.  General cleaning of warehouse.  Must keep safety in mind on all aspects of the job to ensure that you and your co-workers have secure work areas. Fast paced work environment; ability to stay focused. Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.

 

Continual standing, frequent bending.  Must be able to lift in excessof 50 pounds. Very physical Work! Some computer experience helpful.

 

 

MAIN ACTIVITIES

 

Order Picking: Pulling and staging of customer orders from the pick lines to the staging area.  Work areas include primarily warehouse floor,cooler (35 degrees F) freezer (-15 degrees F). Orders are pulled with RF Scanners.

 

Loading Orders: Load the route trucks according to route sequence for next day delivery.  Use of two wheelers and pallet jacks.  Same physical requirements.

 

Stocking Flow Racks: Working as a team and filling pick lines for future orders. Same physical requirements.

 

General Cleaning: Continually clean warehouse and trucks when routes are up and loaded.  Washing trucks, sweeping floors, cleaning break room, throwing out garbage.

 

Drug Testing is mandatory as a condition of hire.

 

Must have reliable transportation!
